سلّط يونس الضوء على أهمية تطوير واستضافة كولومبيا نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي الخاصة بها محليًا لضمان السيادة التعليمية والحفاظ على التكامل الثقافي. وأكد أن تبني نماذج ذكاء اصطناعي أجنبية يحمل خطر غرس قيم ووجهات نظر ثقافية خارجية في النظام التعليمي الكولومبي. ومن خلال إنشاء أنظمة ذكاء اصطناعي خاصة بها، يمكن لكولومبيا أن تعكس بشكل أفضل قيمها الفريدة وأخلاقياتها وديناميكياتها الاجتماعية ضمن تقنياتها.
خلال عرضه التقديمي، تناول يونس أيضًا كيف أثبت الذكاء الاصطناعي بالفعل قدرته على دعم المعلمين من خلال تقليل أعباء العمل اليومية بمقدار ساعتين إلى ثلاث ساعات على الأقل، مما يتيح لهم التركيز على الأنشطة التعليمية ذات القيمة الأعلى. يأتي هذا التحسن في الإنتاجية كجزء من رؤية أوسع يقودها الذكاء الاصطناعي للتعليم، والتي يمكنها مواجهة التحديات المحلية مع احترام المعايير الثقافية والأخلاقية الوطنية.
